These songs will never be as good as they are, in my head...
2.
V1) A pile of empties, and a crowded head. Each new thought, better left unsaid. Can't get this right, each gesture wrong. No solace found, I sing this song. CH) I don't know why you called, We already know. We cannot go back. It doesn't work like that. I don't know why you called. We already know. We cannot go back. It doesn't work like that. V2) A heart that's full, and an empty bed. Mistakes of youth, a dream that's dead. The things we need, what's on our mind. Yet still we seek, and we don't find. CH) V3) The directionless, wish for a map. Insomniacs, wish for a nap. The things we want, that we won't get. Yet still we try, cause we forget. CH) I don't know why you called, We already know. We cannot go back. It doesn't work like that. I don't know why you called, (I am the thing, you miss the most) We already know. (I am the thing, you miss the most) We cannot go back. (I am the thing, you miss the most) It doesn't work like that. (I am the thing, you miss the most)
3.
V1) All it ever does is rain. Every day it seems the same. Condensation from the sky. Wonder why I even try? CH) Has anybody seen my sunshine? Wanna get out and make the day mine. Has anybody seen my sunshine? Motivation's dying on the vine. Has anybody seen my sunshine? Wanna get out and make the day mine. Has anybody seen my sunshine? V2) We should take a road trip! Give it up and jump ship. Doesn't matter where we go. Less tell and more show. Fresh perspective's what we need. Follow roads to where they lead. Wrap my arms around you. Summer season over-due. CH) BG) Get new jobs if we come back. Drive till we find the love shack. Boys of Summer on repeat, While you nap in the backseat. CH)
4.
V1) Moving your life eight hours west. Trying like hell to do your best. Wanting to win at all you do. Family & friends that all love you. Hitting the curve-balls that life throws. All new people you don’t know. Things that you’ve never seen before: a world of wonders outside your door. CH) Home misses you, when you miss home. With home in your heart you’re, never alone. Home misses you, when you miss home. It’s never too late to, pick-up a phone. Home misses you: when you miss home. V2) These are a few of my favorite things; I hope you relate to the joy they bring: Hershey Bears games half the year, Drinking Troeg’s latest scratch beer. Hockey at Hillside on Sunday, Lager is best we used to say. Negley Park’s a lovely view, Lotus, Alyssa, Violet & Eli too. Artsfest, Kipona, Shady’s vibe, The dog park, and old Green Lane Drive. These are a few of my favorite things; I hope you relate to the joy they bring: CH) Home misses you, when you miss home. With home in your heart you’re, never alone. Home misses you, when you miss home. It’s never too late to, pick-up a phone. (repeat)

If you could go back and start all over, Would you sink, or swim, or fly? How much time would you spend changing, Or would you even stop to try? Me?... I can't see past the present. I keep my distance, far away... There is a piece of you in my heart. I think about, every day.
6.
V1) This morning I woke up, and everything had changed. I did not know how, or why my life was rearranged. Confused by people, that I saw, in those places. I couldn't put my finger on, any of their faces. CH) Sometimes things. Make me feel / Are too real These postcards. Are not real / Used to make me feel BG) Where is my remote control? Who took my mobile phone? Did I drive or ride-share here? Am I left all alone? Did I take my pills yet? Do I have kids in this life? Who is the President? Are you my wife? CH) V2) One morning I'll wake-up, and I won’t know where I am. All cognition will have left, I’ll be in a real jam. What was I speaking of just now? Do you recall? One morning... Did I wake up? Or not at all? Help me… CH)
7.
V1) There is so much I want to tell you. I'm glad we called off work today. I promise I will make it worth it. We will do all the things you say. I love spending time just like this. No plans or chores; adult-free-zone. We won't do anything we don't like. And live like children home alone. CH) Put your trust in me. I'll put my trust in you. Love will fill our house, And guide the things we do. (repeat) Cause we hold each other's hearts. V2) With understanding of your wishes, I do the things that please you most. Maybe we never leave our mattress, Such a warm and friendly host. Start a new country in our bedroom. No taxes, wars, or "45". Only the love we share forever. And Archer reruns till we die. CH)
8.
V1) Hindsight is the best sight, But now it's a little late. An undisputable fact of epic proportions, That only fills me up with... Hate the days of future past, Go for three, the lead won't last. Make the call that's tough to fake, Lives will change and hearts will only... Break the fall of something new, Looking back through I.O.U.'s. Seems I've hit the wall again, The car won't make it this time, my friend.
